Parmesan Shortbread

Made with Perfect Italiano™ Parmesan Cheese

  • 250g plain flour
  • 175g chilled butter
  • 200g Perfect Italiano Parmesan, grated
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 egg yolk
  • water (if needed)
  • pinch of salt




  1. Blend and pulse all ingredients together until if forms a dough. If it's a little dry, add a little water.
  2. Roll out on a floured board and cut into shapes. Sprinkle with additional cayenne pepper and finely grated parmesan or parmesan powder.
  3. Bake at 175°C until lightly golden – approximately 25 minutes.
