Sausage and Mushroom Baked Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100g chicken sausage, sliced
  • 50g shitake mushrooms, sliced
  • 200g San Remo Tomato & Basil sauce
  • 100ml cream
  • 200g precooked rice
  • 100g Perfect Italiano Perfect Bakes Cheese
  • Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. Sauté garlic, mushrooms, and sausage with butter.
  2. Add cream and San Remo Tomato & Basil sauce into the sauté
  3. Place rice in a baking dish and top with the sauce
  4. Top with Perfect Italiano Perfect Bakes Cheese
  5. Bake at 180°C oven until golden brown
  6. Chef’s Tip: Be creative and use different toppings, or even change it to pasta!
